3d Printers are on the way and soon you will be able to start replicating things you see or buy over the internet and have it printed out of your printer. Right now costs for the cheapest model range around $5000 but one day in the near future you could see them drop as low as 500.
By using various methods for ink so to say these 3d printers can print things that work right out the printer no assembly required. I could see one day printing out Glock pistols since they are made of plastic on these printers and other things you can buy online which would be awesome.
